How to get to Luján
Luján is about 68 kilometers west of the City of Buenos Aires. By train, by bus or by car, and what to do with your car once you arrive.
By train: Sarmiento line
From Once station, the electric train of the Sarmiento line runs to Moreno. In Moreno you change to the diesel service to Mercedes, which stops at Luján.
The Moreno–Mercedes section runs on a special timetable due to track works: check the day’s times on Trenes Argentinos before you set off.
By bus: line 57
Bus line 57 leaves from Once and from Plaza Italia and reaches the Luján bus terminal via the Acceso Oeste highway. The full route is on the official route map.
By car
From the City of Buenos Aires, take the Acceso Oeste highway (National Route 7). National Route 5 and provincial routes 6, 47 and 34 also reach Luján.
In the center there is paid street parking, paid through the SEM Luján app. To leave your car, van or coach all day, book at the parking areas in Luján.
